July is a hot month for Bobby!

Bobby Harden’s single “You and I” on Scott Hardkiss’s CD “Technicolor Dreamer” will be released, as a single, with lots of great remixes for the clubs, in July.

Scott pushed Bobby to sing his highest vocal note, ever, on this amazing track. Bobby also sings lead vocals on the title track “Technicolor Dreamer”. Here’s what Magnet Magazine said: “it’s difficult to argue about the truth behind the title Technicolor Dreamer, the long overdue debut album by Brooklyn based DJ and studio savant – Scott Hardkiss. Out on Hardkiss’s own “God Within” label. Technicolor Dreamer is a surreal tapestry of under-the-sea funk fantasies and electronic pop with disco-era studio trim.”

What is Bobby up to now?

Bobby is giving all his positive energy in the studio to create his 2nd CD for a 2012 release.

Bobby co-wrote several of the songs with songwriter/producer/artist Brian Knox. He worked with Adrian Harpham, producer/drummer, who produce several of the tracks. Bobby co-wrote two of the other songs on the CD with his keyboard player, Ron Thompson and his bass player, Gene Torres.

New York’s Soul Man

Singer/songwriter Bobby Harden delivers honest, straight-ahead R&B in his debut CD Soul Purpose on Nyota Records. Soul Purpose is a traditional project built on good story lines, generous melodies, solid grooves and powerful vocals.

There is a dependable lack of clutter in the production. The influence of traditional R & B and Soul recordings are brought to life with material that is fresh; songs that command you to listen again and again. The lyrics are drawn from universal emotions that, according to Bobby, “even your mother can enjoy.”

Bobby has earned an international reputation as “New York’s Soul Man.”
